Tourist activities in different forests in Uganda: Although Uganda is endowed with several woods with a wide variety of tree types, the National Forestry Authority has gazetted 506 Central Forest to preserve the plants and animals that can be found there. These forest reserves are dispersed over the nation, while some are located within national parks, such as the impenetrable forest reserve in Bwindi and the Rwenzori forest reserve, to name a couple. One Uganda safari in these forest reserves would be amazing because some of these forests are primarily made up of tree species with a small number of animals, while others are full of trails, wildlife, birds, primates, and other magnificent tree species.
Mabira Central forest reserve.
This Tropical rainforest is located in Buikwe district, approximately 56km from kampala the capital city of Uganda while it is 20km from Jinja district. This forest has over 312 species of trees some of which are medicinal while other are good for their timber making majority of these tree species endangered species.
