Hiking: Among the activities in Mount Elgon national park hiking is one of the most rewarding activities that can be carried out during your Uganda Safaris. Visiting the coffee plantations: Mount Elgon national park is known for its rich fertile soils which have favoured the growth of Arabica coffee. Tourists will have the chance to see a number of coffee plantations and also get the chance to visit the plantation with a guide who will take you through the coffee plantations in the park and you will learn how coffee is grown, harvested roasted and you will also be given the opportunity to taste the rich Arabica coffee.
