Detailed Itinerary for 7 Days Kenya Exclusive Wildlife Safari.
Day 1: Pickup from Nairobi and Drive to Masai Mara
Our driver guide reports to your hotel for Start of the safari, with an early departure for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve. You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning views of what is the world’s largest valley. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch. The afternoon game drive at 3.30 pm allows spotting of the unrivalled wildlife in the park. Return to your camp by 6.30pm for dinner and overnight stay at your designated lodge/camp.
Day 2&3: Full Day Game Drive in Mara
You enjoy two game drives today, one in the morning at 6.15am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch. As your safari is private your game drive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game drive with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return to your camp by evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Visit Masai Village and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge. You will then meet up with your driver guide and head out for a visit to the Maasai community living at the park. Get a chance to interact with the friendly and hospitable Maasai people and learn more about their unique culture as you tour their traditional homesteads (Bomas) and also watch traditional folk dance and singing performances from the locals. Have your packed lunch and embark on your transfer to Amboseli national park where you will check-in to your lodge before heading out for an evening game drive in the park.
Head back to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay same as previous night.
Day 5&6: Full Day Game Drive
On Day 5&6 of your 7 Days Kenya Exclusive Wildlife safari, have breakfast early in the morning and head out for a full game drive in the park. Amboseli national park is a tourist hotspot in Kenya due to its large numbers of savannah elephants that can easily be seen freely roaming its open savannah plains. You will also a chance to see other wildlife animals such as gazelles, zebras, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, wildebeest, jackals, waterbucks, buffaloes, and lions among others. The park is also home to over 350 bird species including ostriches, cormorants and flamingoes among other. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 7: Drive Back to Nairobi and Departure.
Wake up at leisure and have a relaxed breakfast meal at your Camp. You will then check out and drive back to Nairobi City with lunch enroute. In case you have time to spare, you can take a short tour of Nairobi City where you can visit the Giraffe Center and Snake Park. Drop off will be at any hotel of your choice in Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as you will advise.
