During these 7 Days Uganda and Kenya Safari, you will get a chance to track mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda and then fly to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya for exquisite safari game drives in the park. This tour begins in Entebbe, Uganda and ends in Nairobi, Kenya.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe-Uganda.
Day 2: Hotel Pickup and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

7 Days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe-Uganda.
Depending on your flight arrival time at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our company representative and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Hotel Pickup and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 7 Days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will take photos, buy souvenirs and then continue the journey with another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. After lunch you will proceed to the park with stunning views of the countryside, beautiful scenery, Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands and many others. Upon arrival in Bwindi impenetrable national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your designated lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast on the third day of the 7 Days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya safari, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas because they like to move from one place to another in search of food.
During trekking you will enjoy views of other wildlife species including forest elephants, buffaloes, duikers, other primates like chimpanzees, l’Hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, variety of bird species, view different plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their habits, lifestyle, behaviors, watch them feed, play, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos and record videos to show people back home after the safari.
After the interesting moment with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and later meet up with your driver guide to go for an optional cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa people, learn about their culture, tradition, enjoy their traditional entertainments among others. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 4: Drive Back to Entebbe
On the fourth day of your 7 Days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya Safari, have early breakfast from your lodge and check out. You will then meet up with your driver guide and drive back to Entebbe with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara. Upon your arrival in Entebbe, check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Fly to Masai Mara and Game Drive
On the fifth day of your 7 Days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya Safari, you will have breakfast from your hotel and then head to Entebbe International Airport where you will be boarding your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Once you land in the park, our company representative will drive you to your lodge where you will check in and have your lunch. After lunch, you may choose to spend the rest of your evening relaxing at the lodge or head out for an afternoon game drive in the park where you stand a chance to view a variety of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes to mention but a few.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge/camp.
Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Mara
Following breakfast, we go for a full-day dame drive, complete with a packed lunch. The reserve is well-known for its black-maned lion and numerous resident species, and it is one of the few areas where the big five may be seen during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so docile that they seek shade from the blazing sun under a car, and a few even climb onto the roof to obtain a better view of prospective prey.
For bird enthusiasts, around 500 species have been documented, including 16 species of eagles, several hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the Kori bustard, the world’s largest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

Day 7: Visit Masai Bomas and Drive back to Nairobi-Departure.
Unfortunately, today marks the last day of your 7 Days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya Safari! After having your breakfast, you will drive to the Masai Bomas for a cultural experience. Learn more about the unique Masai culture as you get to interact with the friendly locals, take a tour of the local homesteads and take part in their traditional dances. You will have lunch en-route to Nairobi with drop off at a hotel of your choice in Nairobi city or Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
