This 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari takes you on a remarkable journey to top wildlife destinations in Kenya and Tanzania. During this 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari, you will start in Nairobi and drive to Amboseli national for a game and later transfer to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. You will then transfer to Tanzania where you will be visiting Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and finally Tarangire National Park before being dropped off in Arusha/Moshi.

Detailed Itinerary for 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our company representative and be briefed about your safari. Depending on your arrival time, you can do an optional tour of Nairobi city where you can visit interesting places like the Giraffe center, snake park, shopping malls, elephant orphanage and others. Later check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park- Game Drive
After having your breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on about a 4 hours’ drive to Amboseli National Park. Dubbed as “salty dust” in the local Maasai language, Amboseli national park is famous for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop. Enjoy a guided game drive in the park before retiring to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara
Wake up in time to have breakfast at your lodge and then meet up with your driver guide. You will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve for a game drive. Look out for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, leopards and so many more. You will have lunch and dinner at your designated lodge or camp.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Mara- Optional Hot Air Balloon Tour
On the fourth day of your 10 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you can choose to start your day with (optional) a hot air balloon tour in Masai Mara which will be crowned with bush breakfast in the Mara. Today you will also have a full day game drive in the park with a break for lunch and dinner at your lodge.
Day 5: Drive to Serengeti- Game Drive.
Wake up in time to have breakfast at your lodge/ camp before checking out and driving to Serengeti national park in Tanzania crossing through the Isebania border. You will have lunch enroute to the park and embark on a guided game drive upon your arrival in the park.
During your game drive in the national park, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery such as the kopjes where lions can be seen as they watch their prey. You will also see various wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, impalas among others during your game drive. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at stay at your lodge.
Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and your guide will drive you on a morning game viewing experience around the western part of Serengeti national park where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, kudu, rhinos among others.
After having your packed lunches, you will engage in an afternoon game drive in the park as you look out for wildlife species and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Approximately 3 hours’ drive)
Have breakfast at your lodge and then meet up with your driver guide. You will then head out for a morning game drive as you head out of Serengeti national park and transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area. Use this game drive as an opportunity to search for any wildlife that you might not have seen during your previous game drives in the park. (Don’t forget to carry your packed lunch from the lodge before heading out).
Upon your arrival in Ngorongoro, you will check-into your lodge and spend the rest of your evening relaxing and unwinding. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 8: Crater Game Drive
After having breakfast at your lodge, carry your packed lunch and embark on a crater game drive in Ngorongoro. You will also see wildlife species in the crater area such as elephants, buffalos, rhinos, zebras, waterbucks, antelopes, hyenas, gazelles, kudus, predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs. You will also enjoy beautiful views of the scenery around you as you explore the Ngorongoro conservation area. Later have your packed lunch and then head back to your lodge where you will spend the rest of your evening at leisure.
Later have dinner and overnight same as the previous night.
Day 9: Transfer to Tarangire National Park- Game Drive
Following early breakfast at your lodge/camp, you will meet up with your driver guide and embark on your journey to Tarangire National Park. Upon your arrival in the park, you will embark on a guided game drive in the park followed by lunch at your lodge. After lunch you will have another game drive in the park and you can use this opportunity to look out for any animals that you haven’t seen in your previous game drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at your designated lodge.
Day 10: Transfer Back to Arusha/Moshi.
After you have had breakfast at your lodge, check out in time and meet up with your driver guide. You will then proceed to your return journey back to Arusha where your driver guide will drop you off at a hotel of your choice or Kilimanjaro International airport in Moshi. (Kindly ensure to book a night flight out of Arusha or JRO if you plan to flight out on this day).
