Details of the Tour

Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Murchison Falls

Pick Up: Depending on your location in Kampala, at exactly 7am our guide will pick you up and before you embark on your journey to the park you will first be briefed on how the trip will be conducted and the activities that will be involved and the do’s and don’ts. After the briefing, the guide will then start on your journey to the Murchison Falls national park a park famous for its magnificent falls. Through the different towns, you will stopover at Masindi town a fruit growing sector in the country where you will enjoy a number of fruits like pineapples, papaws, oranges, jackfruit, and others.
Rhino Trekking: After the encounter with the local traders, you will proceed to Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will spend 2 to 3 hours and have a chance to see the endangered white rhinos, a number of bird species, animal species like the Oribi, reedbucks, bushbucks, duikers and so on. After rhino tracking, you will have en-route lunch and later on proceed to the largest national park in Uganda-Murchison Falls National Park where you are welcomed by a number of baboons.
Drive to the top of the falls: On reaching the park, you will then be driven to the top of Murchison falls where splendid views will be seen the sounds of the waterfalls which will offer a lifetime experience from there you will transfer to your hotel to relax.

DAY 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Morning Game Drive: After early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by our guide at exactly 7am for an early morning game drive. The park is known for the large numbers of the animals and it is guaranteed that you will see different animals while they begin to start on their daily activities, nocturnal animals can also be seen clearly in the morning as they get ready to go into hiding. Some of the game trails include the paraa area where a number of animals can be seen like the Rothschild’s giraffe, antelopes, and jackals among other animals making it rewarding to you.
Boat Cruise: At around 11am, after the end of your game drive, you will be transferred to your hotel in order to relax and have lunch. After some time for relaxation, you will then be taken on to the afternoon launch cruise where a number of animals like buffalos, elephants will be seen, crocodiles sun basking and waiting on the prey, hippos, water birds can also be seen. The ride will take you to the bottom of the falls which is beautiful once seen. After the launch cruise, you will then transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kampala

Game Drive: After early morning breakfast, at exactly 7am our guide will pick you up from your hotel so that you get ready and participate in the morning game drive. He will drive you to the northern side of the park with the high concentration of animals which can be seen including the nocturnal animals before they go back into hiding, the zebras, duikers, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest and other early risers and they get ready for the day of grazing.
Return to Kampala: At 11am, checkout at the hotel will be done and you will embark on your journey to return to Kampala, through Masindi town, where you will have lunch and later on proceed to Kampala city where our driver will drop you off at a location of your choice and the end of your trip.
