Endowed with impressive landscapes and sceneries, Uganda has several hiking and mountain climbing trails. Some of these trails may be suitable for experienced mountaineers, but most of them are accessible to just about any adventurous traveler. Uganda has several mountains which include the Rwenzori Mountains and Mountain Elgon. The Rwenzori Mountains are the biggest mountain range in Africa, including six main mountains with peaks exceeding 4.500 m. of altitude: Mt. Stanley, Mt. Speke, Mt. Baker, Mt. Gessi (in the Congolese side), Mt. Emin Pasha. Mt. Luigi di Savoia. They are found along the border between Uganda and Congo for over 120 km. A Uganda hiking tour to Mt Rwenzori is very daring with the central circuit being the best to follow.

Other places to go for a Uganda hiking tour or nature walks include: lake Mburo hiking / nature walks, Mgahinga hiking and nature walks, Murchison falls hiking and nature walks, Semuliki hiking and nature walks, Bwindi hiking and nature walks, and several others in Mt Elgon National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park and Kibale Forest National Park.
